Who We Are:

The vision of Faith Believers Apostolic Ministry was conceived in March of 1983 out of a small Bible study taught by Elder L.A. Henry. The vision was for a group that adhered closely to the doctrine of the original apostles and founding fathers of our faith as documented in the book of Acts of the Apostles and other New Testament books. That God, the creator of all things, sent his son Jesus Christ to die to redeem all humanity from the curse that we bore due to Adam’s sin.

We believe in the infallibility of God’s word and this influences every facet of our lives. God manifested himself as flesh (1 Tim 3:161 Tim 3:16
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

and came to earth as Jesus Christ to redeem us from the curse of death brought on us when Adam, the first man sinned. He left us a command to teach others of his abundant love and sacrifice, not only through words but more so through our actions. We believe that for men to be saved they must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ (John 3:16John 3:16
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

, repent of their sins, be baptized in water in the name of Jesus Christ and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost (Acts 2:38Acts 2:38
English: King James Version (1611) - KJV

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

. This is the foundation of the apostolic doctrine.
